Tatianna Sims is an award winning Filmmaker, Television Producer and Director, Motivational Speaker, and Change Agent who uses media to promote awareness in all facets. Her films has be nominated and won in many film festivals including FX Student Film Project, Princeton Prize in Race Relation for the Central/Southern Region of New Jersey, the Chance Award from the People’s Film Festival and Best of Festival in the Nassau Film Festival. She is the Founder and CEO of Challenge Entertainment and the Creator, Executive Producer and Director of Trenton Now, a television show that highlights the people, businesses, and government of Trenton, New Jersey. The television show has consistently ranked number one and has been awarded a JAM Video award from the Jersey Access Group. She has produced and directed the Witherspoon Jackson Documentary for The Arts
Council of Princeton and the National Endowment for the Arts entitled The Witherspoon Jackson Project, which documents the African American Community of Princeton. She has also partnered with FUBU TV to offer programs and live events. In addition, she has partnered with From the
Block 2 the Boardroom (FTB2TB) to support its mission to formulate real reentry solutions for returning citizens looking to reintegrate into society and to advocate for social reform. Some of Tatianna's corporate media clients include Princeton University, the Garden State Watercolor Society, Starbucks Coffee Company, New York University, and The Nassau Film Festival.
Her civic leadership in the community has led to numerous awards and recognition from organizations such as StarTween Community Leader Award, for her Unity Walk Campaign that brings people together in celebration of Unity, Diversity, and Togetherness, The Not In Our Town
Unity Award, Future Arts Leader Award by Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, Regional Champion for Poetry Out Loud, and a Walt Disney Corporate Scholar. Tatianna continues to use her talents to help communities unite by expanding the Unity Walk. Her efforts has led to working with the United States Government in producing a documentary, the creation of a scholarship program in memory of her late grandfather Howard “Sandman” Sims of the Apollo Theater, and the start of The Challenge Entertainment Production Academy.
As a vibrant, professional, passionate entrepreneur, Tatianna has been featured on Television and radio talk shows. She has been a keynote Speaker at Princeton University, Rutgers University, Delta Sorority, NYU, The Power of You, Women Talk Back, WWP African American Parent Support Group, Unheard Voices by Princeton Public Library, My Eternal Family, The Committed and Faithful Princetonians, and The Paul Robeson Arts Council of Princeton.
